Strength in Stitches: Neha’s Journey of Empowerment with Asha Handicrafts
At just 22, Neha from Panipat has become a pillar of strength for her family. Specializing in clipping and quality check work, Neha has been part of Asha Handicrafts Association’s producer group for the past two years.
Born to a hardworking mother who struggled with irregular labor jobs, Neha stepped up early to support her family. Today, she works 8 hours a day, walking to the nearby workshop each day and returning home for lunch – a small comfort that brings her joy.
Thanks to the fair and regular income she earns through Asha, Neha has not only helped stabilize her family’s finances but has also earned their deep admiration.
“My family is proud of me. They say Asha Handicrafts is a blessing – and pray for everyone who made this support possible.”
